350 - 400 gm shrimp
1 whole tomato ( wash and cut cubes)
1 whole big onion (peel and cut cubes)
1/2 rice bowl tomato sauce
5 3/4 ml water
11/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
3 dash pepper powder
4 -5 slices ginger
cooking oil to fry the shrimp
Wash and devein shrimps, wipe it with paper towels.
Mix tomato sauce with vinegar, water and sugar together.
Heat up the wok to high and deep fry the shrimp till golden brown. Remove from wok and drain out
oil. Scoop some of the oil from the wok and leave only 2 - 3 teaspoon. Lower down the heat to
medium and fry the ginger. Pour in the tomato mixture and stir for a while. Dump in the previous fried
golden brown shrimp, add the big onion and tomato cubes and fry for a while.
Fry or stir for a while, taste the dish, if you prefer sweeter you can add another 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
Tomato shrimp is serve.
